Every child in America deserves the opportunity to be healthy regardless of their economic circumstances. PLAYR1 was built to deliver real, science-based nutrition that helps them focus in the classroom, perform on the field, and feel their best, without artificial dyes, synthetic sweeteners, or added sugar standing in the way. That belief is the foundation of our school strategy. PLAYR1 is not simply entering the K-12 beverage category; we are building the infrastructure, partnerships, and access model to make PLAYR1 a permanent, trusted fixture on school menus nationwide, in cafeterias, vending programs, and athletic departments alike.
That national reach starts with relationships already under contract. PLAYR1 has secured a national network of K-12 food service distributors, led by our partnership with Columbia, SC-based K-12 Food Solutions, giving us direct access to school nutrition directors and distribution channels across the country. We are launching this fall in multiple Southeastern states, where eighteen months of in-school tastings have already earned approval ratings in the mid-90th percentile from students and nutrition staff alike. From that foundation, our broker network will carry PLAYR1 west throughout 2027 and 2028, district by district and state by state, until every region of the country has access to the PLAYR1 lineup.
PLAYR1 management is committed to a simple, non-negotiable principle: no child should be priced out of a healthy drink. As we scale, we are actively developing partnerships with strategic individuals and corporate partners willing to invest in that principle, underwriting and offsetting the cost of PLAYR1 within school lunch programs and school athletic programs so that access to better nutrition never depends on a family’s ability to pay. This is the same standard PLAYR1 Founder AJ Foppe built into the product itself: clinical-grade quality, at a dose that actually works, made available to every student, not just the ones whose families can afford it.
PLAYR1’s Booth 1349 presence at the SNA Annual National Conference in Charlotte this July marks the public starting point of that journey, but the plan behind it has been five years of R&D in the making.
